Field Day Assignment 1

Throughout this assignment I was able to come to many realizations about critical thinking. For example, critical thinkers are always recognizing their limitations and never pretend to know more than they do. Honesty plays a huge role in this. Having an open mind and listening to others ideas are also key ingredients a critical thinker demonstrates. When one does not listen to others ideas their emotions and ego start to take over because they believe they are right. However, there is not always going to be a right or wrong answer. Critical thinkers also love striving to understand what they are confused about no matter what it takes. Although, It seems that many people are only willing to do this when they are interested or passionate about the topic. As one can see these are just a few ways to recognize a critical thinker, but just because one can recognize it does not necessarily mean they think critically.
